Trilateral technical groups of Azerbaijan, the United States, and Armenia have begun work to implement the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project, stated in a joint statement issued by the governments of the three countries on November 6, APA reports.

The meeting marking the launch of the working groups was attended by US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.

The statement notes that the new format brings together government representatives and technical experts from the three countries to work jointly to develop regional transport connectivity, strengthen long-term stability, and expand economic cooperation.

The parties agreed to establish the first two trilateral working groups, which will address transportation and electricity transmission issues.

It is emphasized that the work of these groups will help resolve complex technical issues and move toward the next stages of TRIPP implementation, including its integration with other regional infrastructure.

The participants also reaffirmed their commitment to putting all components of the project into practical operation as soon as possible.
