For example, breaking in oil pipeline can cause a great calamity. Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline is situated in the fault zone. But preventive measures were taken in these areas as a result of researches. For example, oil pipelines in Canada on the shores of the Arctic Ocean are also situated in the fault zone. These pipelines are in a state of resistance to breakings and oil pipeline has not damaged as a result of breaking. Our studies in Azerbaijan also have this purpose. We learn that if quake occurs in Baku, where the quake will be strong and where weak.â€
Gadirov said that quakes in Baku and Absheron peninsula wouldn’t be above 6.4-magnitide, but it was just supposition and date of quake is unknown.â€
