Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan: â€œI will make public the names of drug-addicted children of officialsâ€

Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. â€œItâ€™s very regretful that our youth treats the narcotic drugs as an entertainmentâ€ Deputy Prime Minister, the chairman of State Committee on combat drug problems Ali Hasanov said during the presentation of the spectacle â€œPlay with lifeâ€ devoted to the complications of drug addiction and struggle against it, APA reports.

Committee chairman said that children from well-fixed families are more addicted to drugs and very often they donâ€™t understand the seriousness of this illness: â€œSome children from well-fixed families think that if they donâ€™t use drugs, what can happen if they try ones? Their aim is not to become a drug addicted. But this is the main way of it. Thatâ€™s way the majority of drug addicted people are from well-fixed families, because the poor donâ€™t have enough money to buy drugsâ€.

Ali Hasanov said that some officials didnâ€™t come to the presentation despite they were invited. He sent a strong message to them: â€œThey were invited, but didnâ€™t come. Itâ€™s their business. At that rate, one day I will talk about their children, they will awake then. Ones I told it and the press asked me during six month when I would call their names. At this rate, I will do it.â€
