Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources: Strong wind occurred in Garadagh on June 19 was not a storm

Verdiyev said that according to information of the meteorology station in Garadagh district, the lightning struck in this area at 15.00 yesterday and was a heavy rain at 18.00: â€œHeavy rain was observed in some districts of Baku yesterday. The wind usually intensifies for a moment in this case. Maybe, the strong wind caused destruction in this area. We measured the air conditions at certain times and the storm was not recorded at this time.â€

The Justice Ministryâ€™s Penitentiary Service said that one-minute strong wind blew in the normal air condition in the area of penitentiary facilities on June 19 at 17.40.

As a result of accident, 110 meter main and supporting fence collapsed, roof, electric poles fell out and communication lines cut.

In this regard, the alarm was immediately given, the relevant structures of the service were mobilized and relevant structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and â€œAzerinergyâ€ were involved to the territory.

Measures have been taken to ensure safety in the prisons that prisoners could not leave the territory. None of the prisoners didnâ€™t leave or try to leave the territory.

The report noted that at present the results of natural disaster are being eliminated, the situation in prisons is stable.
