Azerbaijani schools hold final exams today

The SSAC press service told APA that 53 examination centers were established to hold the final exams of the eleventh form pupils in the secondary educational institutions in Baku.

23914 pupils are considered to participate in the final exam of the eleventh form pupils in Baku.

Examination centers were established in Ganja, Sumgayit, Absheron, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Guba, Gusar and Khacmaz regions for the final exams of the pupils of the Russian sector. 1935 pupils, studied in the secondary educational institutions of the above-mentioned cities for the Russian sector, take examinations.

52 media representatives accredited to cover the examination process. The final exam is held for the native language (Azerbaijani for the pupils of the Azerbaijani section and Russian for the pupils of the Russian sector) and mathematics.

Totally 60 tests – 30 tests for every subject is giving to the pupils. Besides it, the pupils do written works for the theme. The examination will start at 11 and last 2 hours. One and half hour is given to the tests and 30 minutes to the written work. The written work is not estimated with points, only in special cases it is used as an extra criterion. The information on correct and false answers of the pupils to the test is made up within 5 days. The pupil’s price for the 5 point scale is made up within 10 days after completion of the final exams in the republic. Pupils, freed from the final exams due to valid reason, will give an exam in July 8.
