SSAC chairwoman: â€œList of pupils freed from the final exams due to illness will be seriously controlled next yearâ€

The SSAC chairwoman said that majority of pupils freed from the final exams due to illness causes worry: â€œI wouldnâ€™t like we have so many sick children. Formation of the List of pupils freed from the final exams due to illness will be seriously controlled in future.â€

The SSAC chairwoman said that sometimes pupils and applicants freed from the exams due to illness and deferred from military service file document to Sports Academy: â€œIf the applicants were in age of 18, he should get the deferment right from military service. But such cases are often observed that despite the applicant got the deferment right form military service due to illness they want to participate in qualifying round for admission to the Sports Academy. The man must be either sick or healthy. No can recover within 10-15 days. The children can be freed from the exams on a basis of serious illnesses which were confirmed by the Ministry of Health.â€

Abbaszadeh said that the SSAC couldnâ€™t check the diagnose of 540 pupils freed form the final exams for the full secondary education level: â€œBut if someone from 540 pupils entered to the Azerbaijani Medical University, the lie would reveal, because the sick man couldnâ€™t study at the Medical University and Police Academy. They are required health certificate for it. According to decree on the development of the provisional rules due to the final exams, the ground rules must be developed within in two days. The SSAC will submit its proposals on this issue to the Cabinet of Minister while these rules developing.â€
