Lankaran. Ageddin Babayev – APA. The first batch of assistance sent by the Ministry of Emergency Situations to eliminate the consequences of the storm that hit the southern regions on the night of January 2-3 reached Lankaran. APA’s south bureau reports that the assistance consisting of 14 trucks was distributed among the regions in Lankaran. Chief of the ministry’s South Regional Center Ilham Huseynov told journalists that 4,000 slates and 50 cu m boards had been brought in 14 trucks.
According to Huseynov, the next batch of the assistance will be brought next week. The construction materials will be sent to Lerik, Astara and Yardimli, which suffered from the storm most.
“The ministry will continue material assistance,†he said.
