Meteorologists warn about expected windy weather in Azerbaijan

The National Hydrometeorology Department of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry told APA that
7-12 m/s south wind will blow and will reach 14 m/s in the daytime. The temperature will be 9â€¦12 C in the daytime, 4â€¦ 6 C in the evening.

On January 10, it will be changeable cloudy and rainless in some parts of the peninsula. 9-14 m/s south-western wind will blow and occasionally intensify up to 18-23 m/s and 25 m/s in some places of the peninsula. The temperature will be 4â€¦ 6 C at night, 10â€¦ 14 C in the daytime.

On January 11, it will be changeable cloudy and mostly rainless and foggy in some places. 9-14 m/s south-western wind will blow and intensify to 18-23 m/s and pass into 7-12 m/s north-western wind in the evening. The temperature will be 5â€¦ 7 C at night and 10â€¦ 14 C in the daytime.

On January 9, it will be mainly rainless and some foggy in the morning and nights in Azerbaijani regions, it is expected to be drizzly in Lankaran-Astara region. 3-8 m/s east wind will blow and pass into 7-12 m/s south-west wind in the daytime, intensifying in the evening to 15-20 m/s and 23-28 m/s in the mountainous regions. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 4 C at night, 9â€¦ 13 C in the daytime, in the mountains 0â€¦5 C at night and -5â€¦ 10 C in the daytime.

On January 10-11, it is expected to be rainless and some foggy. 5-10 m/s south-west wind will blow, intensifying to 15-20 m/s and occasionally 23-25 m/s and 28 m/s in some mountainous areas. The temperature will be 2â€¦6 5 C at night, 10â€¦15 C in the daytime, in the mountains -3â€¦2 C at night and 7â€¦12 C in the daytime.

Meteorologists warn about the windy weather in the next two days that the speed of the south-west wind will be 15-20 m/s on January 9-10, sometimes reach 23-25 m/s, in some mountainous regions 28 m/s.
