Senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Asif Verdiyev told APA that the rainfall will gradually stop in the daytime. North-west wind will be followed by north-east wind in the daytime. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 3 C in the daytime, 4â€¦ 6 C in the evening.

On January 7, it will be changeable, cloudy, rainy in some parts of the peninsula. South wind will blow. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 3 C at night, 5â€¦ 9 C in the daytime.

On January 8, it will be cloudy. It is expected to be mainly rainless. South wind will blow. The temperature will be 4â€¦ 6 C at night and 7â€¦ 11 C in the daytime.

On January 6, it will be rainy in Azerbaijani regions, it is expected to sleet in some places, snow in the mountainous regions. The rainfall will gradually stop in the western regions. It will be cloudy in the morning, west wind will blow. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 4 C at night, 5â€¦ 9 C in the daytime, in the mountains 3â€¦ 8 C at night and -2â€¦ 3 C in the daytime.

On January 7-8, it is expected to be rainless in some western regions. It is forecasted to rain in some eastern regions at night and in the morning. It will be cloudy, east wind will blow in some places in the morning. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 5 C at night, 8â€¦ 12 C in the daytime, in the mountains 3â€¦ 8 C at night and 0â€¦ 5 C in the daytime.

Meteorologists warn about the weather expected in the country. According to them, unstable weather will last till January 6. The speed of the north wind will be 15-20 m/s on January 5, sometimes reach 25 m/s, in some regions 28-30 m/s. On January 6, it will be rainy till afternoon, it will sleet in some places, snow in the mountainous regions. The rainfall will become heavier in the evening and at night.
