Average monthly temperature is forecasted to be close to normal in Azerbaijan in January, National Hydro-meteorological Department of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources told APA. The stable and mostly rainless weather is expected in the first ten days of January, but it is expected to change for a short time and to be cold and rainy in the middle of the month.

Average monthly temperature is expected to be +4â€¦+5 C in Baku and Absheron peninsula, and this is close to normal. The temperature will be 1-4 C at night, -3â€¦0 on separate days. It is expected to be +5â€¦+8 C in the daytimes, and sometimes +10â€¦+14 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close to normal (norm 18-28 mm).

Average monthly temperature is forecasted to range between -5 C up to 0 C in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, this is close to normal. The temperature will be
-11â€¦-6 C at nights, sometimes -20â€¦-15 C in the daytimes. The amount of monthly precipitation is forecasted to be close to normal, in some places above normal (norm 14-25 mm).

Average monthly temperature is forecasted to be -3â€¦0 C in Upper Karabakh-Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojaly, Lachin, Dashkesen-Gadabay, this is close to normal. The temperature is expected to be -3â€¦-5 C at nights, sometimes -13â€¦-10 C, +2â€¦+5 C in the daytimes, sometimes -4â€¦0. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close to normal (norm 16-24mm).

Average monthly weather temperature is expected to be +1â€¦+3 C in Gazakh-Ganja, Tartar, Aghdam-Fuzuli-Jabrayil regions, which is nearly the climate norm. The temperature will be range from -4 to +1 C in the nights. It is forecasted to be +4â€¦+9 C in daytime. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close to normal (norm 10-32 mm).

In Balakan-Shaki-Zagatala-Gabala, Shamakhi-Ismayilli, Khizi, Siyazan, Davachi, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz regions, the average monthly weather temperature is expected to be from -2 to +3 C, which is nearly the climate norm. The temperature will be range from -4 to +1 C in the nights, -7-12 C in the different places, as well as 0-4 C in some areas.
Monthly rainfall will be normal and in some places higher than climate norm (22-49 mm).

3-6 C (nearly climate norm) is expected in the Central Lowland regions â€“ Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Ali Bayramli, Sabirabad, Salyan, Neftchala. The weather temperature is expected to be 1-5 and 0-4 C on the separate days. The daytime temperature will be 9-13 C and 0-4 C on some days. Rainfall is expected to be nearly climate norm (16-32 mm).

The temperature is forecasted to be 5-8 C in Masalli-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik-Yardimli regions that is about the climate norm. It is expected to be 1-4 C in the nights and 0-2 C on the separate days. The daytime temperature will be 9-12 C and on some days 0-4 C. The rainfall is expected to be nearly the climate norm (69-38 mm) and in some areas higher than it.
