WHO and Azerbaijan end correspondence on vaccine delivering

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. The World Health Organization ended correspondence on delivering of vaccine against A/H1N1 virus to Azerbaijan, spokeswoman for WHO Office in Azerbaijan Vusala Allahverdiyeva told APA. She said both sides prepared necessary documents. The Health Ministry of Azerbaijan approved the plan of immunization, delivering of vaccines and etc. “Now we are waiting report from the WHO when it will send first deal of the vaccines”.

Allahverdiyeva said 170 000 dose of vaccines would be inoculated to medical workers first. “The people with long-lasting lung diseases and women in three-month pregnancy will also be inoculated with vaccines of first tranche.

10 countries (Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, Italy, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand and USA) will send a part of its reserve vaccines to Azerbaijan.
