Information gathered about persons missing in Nagorno Karabakh conflict and delivered to ICRC

According to the agreement signed between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, information about 373 people missing in Nagorno Karabakh conflict was gathered from their families in Absheron region, Baku and Sumgayit in January, February, March and June, 2009, executive secretary of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society Beyler Talibov said, APA reports. He said the first stage of the project ended in June. Information was gathered about 1152 missing persons in Absheron region, Baku and Sumgayit from June, 2008 till June, 2009, and delivered to the ICRC.

The second stage of the project continues in 18 regions of Azerbaijan â€“ Aghdam, Fuzuli, Terter, Beylegan, Gedebey, Goygol, Berde, Gazakh, Agstafa, Yevlakh, Shamkir, Tovuz, Samukh, Agjabadi, Dashkesen, Ganja and Mingachevir). Over 650 questionnaires have been collected and delivered to ICRC in the second stage so far. 399 questionnaires will be collected by the end of the year.
