Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. The number of crimes committed by women has recently increased in Azerbaijan, chairperson of the State Committee for Problems of Family, Women and Children Hijran Huseynova said at the press conference, APA reports.
Huseynova said the misunderstandings, conflicts and violence in families cause grave crimes. The committee implements woman-related programs in jails.
“We try to work with the families having problems and contact the members of the families, where crime was committed. What that woman and child will do after returning to the family, we try to find its solution. We make efforts so that computer courses are organized, library is opened for women in jails. Those persons should be given a chance to find their position in the society,†she said.
