State Committee proposes initiative to restore title of Mother-Heroine

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. The State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Problems proposed an initiative to restore the title of Mother-Heroine, the committee chairwoman Hijran Huseynova said at a press conference on Friday, APA reports. She said the situation was not so critical in Azerbaijan, but sometimes the family wants one or two children, not more. â€œWe think that restoration of the title of Mother-Heroine can stimulate the families to have more childrenâ€.

The committee chairwoman said Mother-Heroine would be granted to the women, who gave a birth to 7 or more children.

Huseynova said the committee was elaborating proposals on that. The proposals will be submitted to the relative organizations next year.
