Azerbaijani Health Ministry revokes licenses of three drugstores for artificially increasing prices of respirators

Experts of Health Ministry’s Center for Analytic Examination of Medicines and the Anti-Monopoly State Service under the Economic Development Ministry raided drugstores in Baku and found out that some drugstores sold medicines without state registration and quality certificate and artificially increased the prices of the respirators. Health Ministry’s press service told APA that respirators cost 30-50 kopecks in the drugstore owned by AzkoMed LLC in Nasimi district, Rashid Behbudov street, 16, the drugstore owned by Impuls-M.V LLC in M. Gasimov street, 14/26, the drugstore owned by Ulvi-Hayat firm in Sabail district, moreover, these drugstores sold medicines without quality certificate, had no hydrometer, did not observe the rules for storage of thermolabile medicines.

In connection with these facts, Health Ministry revoked the license of these facilities.
