He said one of the infected persons was in contact with the resident of Kurdamir region, who is treated at the Lung Diseases Institute, and another one, who arrived from Ukraine early November, has no relation to the Kurdamir resident. “Both of patients are in satisfactory conditions. The Kurdamir resident’s relative receives stationary treatment at the Lung Diseases Institute. He had high temperature, cough and wheeze. Today’s results showed that he was infected with “swine flu”. Another patient receives ambulatory treatment at home. He was informed about his illness. His relatives will use individual protective means while contacting with him”.

Three “swine flu” cases were identified in the country over the past two days.

First two infection cases were identified in Azerbaijan in July, 2009. Both were treated and released from the hospital. The third case was identified on November 3. 40-year old woman, who arrived from Ukraine on November 4, receives treatment at the Lung Diseases Institute now.
