Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. €4.5 million has been allocated for the youth policy from the budget of the Youth and Sport Ministry this year, Deputy Youth and Sport Minister Intigam Babayev said at the roundtable on the youth policy of the CIS states, APA reports. He said that the government increases the funds for the youth policy every year. The delegations of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova gave information about the youth policy in their countries. Azerbaijani delegation made the first report. The representative of the Youth and Sport Ministry gave information about the programs envisaging solution of the social problems of the youth, support for the young families, talented young people and students.
32 percent (2.8 million) of Azerbaijan’s population is youth.
