Environment officials raid cafÃ©s, restaurants and wedding houses in Baku

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Departments of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources on National Monitoring and Protection of Environment raided the cafes and restaurants in Baku. The cases of violation of environment legislation were found out in the restaurants â€œMeridianâ€, â€œChanaggalaâ€, â€œNiagaraâ€, wedding palaces â€œKhudaferinâ€, â€œSu Sonasiâ€, Plaza disco-bar and Black Bird night club, press service of the ministry told APA.

While normal noise level is 65 dB, â€œKhudaferinâ€ wedding palaceâ€™s maximal noise was 82 dB (1.26 above normal), 89 dB â€“ in â€œMeridianâ€ restaurant (1.37 above normal), 92 dB â€“ Plaza disco-bar (1.41 above normal) in Nizami district, â€œBlack Birdâ€ night â€“ club â€“ 88 dB (1.35 above normal), â€œNiagaraâ€ restaurant â€“ 87 dB (1.34 above normal) in Nasimi district, â€œChanaggalaâ€ restaurant â€“ 88 dB (1.35 above normal), â€œSu Sonasiâ€ wedding palace â€“ 91 dB (1.4 above normal) in Narimanov district, La Paris restaurant â€“ 85 dB (1.31 above normal) in Sabayel district of Baku.

The officials drew up reports about the violations of law by the legal entities and individuals, and administrative procedure fine rules were set for the managers of above-mentioned restaurants and cafes.

Loud signals installed in the transport means, use of loud-speakers during the weddings and funerals are the main reasons of vibration and noisy pollution of the environment, which negatively effected on the human health and caused fair protest of the citizens.

The noise has a negative impact on the human health. 35-60 dB diapason could negatively impact of remain ineffective on human organism individually. 70-90 dB diapason noise can cause diseases of central nervous system, 100 dB and above can cause hearing problems or even the deafness.

The raid was held for implementation of the presidential decree on the norms of vibration and noise negatively impacted on environment and human health.
