Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. 410 schools in Baku, Sumgayit and Ganja were disinfected against the “swine flu†threat, department chief of the Republican Hygienic and Epidemiological Center Ziyaddin Kazimov told APA. He said all secondary schools of Baku, 50 schools in Sumgayit and 44 – in Ganja were disinfected last weekend.
The department chief said if there was an order, the center’s staff would conduct disinfection work in other public places too.
Spokeswoman for Baku Education Office Zamina Aligizi told APA that they were no addressed yet for disinfection of kindergartens. “We disinfected the kindergartens before the beginning of academic year, but it was disinfection not against the epidemic diseases, but against mice and cockroachesâ€.
