Education exhibition of Malaysian universities opens in Baku

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Education exhibition of Malaysian universities organized by Exhibitions Promotion and Management (EXPAM) and Baku Education Center has opened in Baku today, APA reports. Making a keynote speech at the exhibition, Education Minister Misir Mardanov said Malaysia has high-quality higher education.
“Therefore we included education in Malaysia into the policy of education abroad,” he said.

Misir Mardanov said they visited Malaysia at the end of the previous academic year.
“We acquainted ourselves with several education institutions of the country. We decided to promote Malaysian universities in Azerbaijan. This exhibition is the result of our talks. We got acquainted with two Azerbaijanis, who defended doctorate thesis in Malaysia. Two Azerbaijanis, who get presidential stipend, are studying in Malaysia. If Malaysians want to study in Azerbaijan, we are ready to receive them with great pleasure,” he said.

Education Minister considers that the number of the Azerbaijanis studying in Malaysia should be increased.
“We plan to hold Azerbaijani higher education exhibition in Malaysia in future,” he said.

Deputy Education Minister of Malaysia Siti Hamisah said such exhibitions are very important for improving the relations. She also spoke about the student exchange. Siti Hamisah said there are 65 higher schools in Malaysia. 5 of them have been included into the list of 100 best universities of the world. She said the relations in education will develop.

The education exhibition will be open on October 31 – November 1.
