# 22 October 2009 15:25 (UTC +04:00)
Baku. Nicat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Iteca Caspian will hold “Childhood Technologies”, a charity event at the Central Botanical Garden as part of the BakuTel-2009, the 15th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications & Information Technologies Exhibition & Conference, and the Year of the Child in Azerbaijan.

The participants will assemble swings and attractions from previously prepared parts, and install them in the area allocated for the playground. After the swings are installed, the participants will be able to paint them. By taking part in this event, you will able to bring joy to all the city’s children, which will make this event even more interesting. A playground not only attracts small children, but is also ideal for teenagers, helping them stay healthy and active, and giving them an opportunity to spend time with their family and friends. That is why the organisers have chosen the Central Botanical Garden as the site for the playground. In addition to the flora of Azerbaijan, the area has a collection of more than 2000 trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs from various parts of the world. The Central Botanical Garden currently has a collection of 125 species of rare and endangered plants from the Caucasus, which are included in the “Red Books” of Azerbaijan and the former Soviet Union.

The “Childhood Technologies” event will be held on 24 October at 12:00pm at the Central Botanical Garden (40 Patamdartskoe Shosse)
