45 countries applied to participate in the 4th International Junior Science Olympiad in Baku

Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. 45 countries have already applied to participate in the 4th International Junior Science Olympiad that will be held in Baku in December, press service of Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Ministry told APA. The logo of the Olympiad is a bud. The Olympiad will be organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Youth and Sport Ministry, Education Ministry and Cag Ogretim Isletmeleri.

Education and Science Committees and a Working Group have been established to make preparations for the Olympiad. Tests on physics, chemistry and biology, theoretical and experimental tasks have been prepared with participation of the national experts. The equipment for experiment has been ordered in the foreign companies. Six travel routes have been chosen to familiarize the students, teachers and observers with the countryâ€™s history and culture. About 100 English-language volunteers have been determined and extra trainings were held for them.

Over 15 teenagers from 50 countries will participate in the competition. The questions will be in English. The teenagers will simultaneously compete in physics, chemistry and biology.
