Azerbaijan is 86th for human development indications

The country raised two steps to 86th place for human development indications. Norway showed the highest result and Australia, Iceland, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, France, Switzerland and Japan follow it.

The second group of countries with high living standards includes Bahrain, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Chile and Croatia. Belarus (68), Russia (71) and Turkey (79) are also among those countries. Most of post-Soviet countries, as well as Iran are among the countries with middle level of human development. The lowest indications were fixed in Mali, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan and Niger.

The UNDP researched the indication of age of human life, education opportunities, the number of schoolchildren in the family, per capita national income in 182 countries.
