Health ministry conducts investigate private clinics

The Health Ministry of Azerbaijan investigated the fulfillment of Cabinet of Ministers’ orders for changing “Additional terms for special permission (license) depending on the forms of activity”, “Approval of terms for private medical experience of foreigners and permanent residents of Azerbaijan not having citizenship” and “List of professions and posts used in the offices of the Health Ministry”. Press service of the ministry told APA that 8460 job places were created at 247 private ambulatory and 56 private ambulatory-stationary clinics (except dentist services). 2538 of them are positions of doctors, 4230 – assistant nurses and 1692 – other workers. 21 medical workers were dismissed at 11 private clinics because of non-relevant professions or lack of experience. They were provided with other jobs. The list of medical posts at 200 private clinics was coordinated. 8 private clinics asked for creating conditions for short-term treatment and checkup by foreign doctors and three experts were already allowed to provide services in a determined period.
