Iteca Caspian holds ecological campaign in Baku

BakÄ±. Nicat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. BakuBuild anniversary exhibition organisers held the â€œComfort and Warmth for Birdsâ€ ecological campaign at the Baku Central Botanical Garden. Exhibition participants and Azerbaijani mass media representatives set up over 30 birdhouses together with their families. The adults and children alike took great joy in painting these birdhouses. In such a way, 30 new colourful bird apartments appeared at the Central Botanical Garden.
The campaign aimed to create an attitude of friendliness among the general public and nature users towards the entire variety of wildlife. The birdhouses will help save biological species threatened by extinction.
The campaign was dedicated to BakuBuild’s fifteenth anniversary. A fact worth noting was the concurrence of the two anniversaries, as the Central Botanical Garden also celebrated its seventy-fifth birthday, having opened in 1934. The exhibition organisers and participants hope that the â€œComfort and Warmth for Birdsâ€ campaign will help draw society’s attention to the need to protect the environment, as well as promoting the development of relations between exhibition participants.
