Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations is preparing a package of laws to prevent emergency situations and eliminate their consequences, NATO representative George Vlad Niculescu said at the workshop “Effective methods in planning civil emergency situations and managing the consequences†in Baku, APA reports.
“We hope these laws will be agreed with all ministries. It will have positive influence on the national security concept,†he said.
The workshop was organized by NATO International School in Azerbaijan. Heads of diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan also attend the workshop. The aim of the workshop is to discuss the most important sides of the regional security environment, study the best practices of NATO crisis management system in order to be better aware of the risks and threats of the emergency situations to Azerbaijan.
