BSEC emergency situations ministers adopt Declaration in Baku meeting

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. The Baku meeting of emergency situations ministers and chiefs of related bodies of the Organization of the Black Sea Cooperation (BSEC) countries finished, APA reports. Representative of BSEC chairman, department chief of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Altay Efendiyev and Deputy Emergency Situations Minister of Russia Vladimir Puchkov held a briefing after the meeting. Efendiyev said the work done within the past period and future steps were discussed at the meeting. The participants also exchanged views on joint participation in emergency situations, Baku Declaration was adopted.

Vladimir Puchkov noted that the previous meeting was held three years ago, a number of changes were made in the structure within three years, new structures were established. Deputy Minister noted that a number of proposals, projects on cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
â€œCooperation in rescue operations will continue,â€ he said.

Following this, the participants came to the Central Office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The participants of the event held in the ministryâ€™s Crisis Management Center were informed about the control systems and modern technologies in the crisis management hall.
