Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Roundtable on education was held in Western University within the framework of Azerbaijan-Latvia Business Forum, APA reports. Education system of Azerbaijan and Latvia, reforms carried out in this field, integration of Azerbaijani education system into European education system were discussed during the roundtable.
Acting rector of Western University Zemfira Mammadova gave information abut the higher school. She said the university was opened after Azerbaijan gained its independence and had various faculties. Rector of Nakhchivan Private University Ismayil Aliyev, director of Baku Business Teaching Center Tofig Babayev and representatives of other higher schools gave information about the educational facilities to the Latvian specialists.
The participants also exchanged views on the cooperation between universities.
