The representatives of all 39 countries in Eurovision 2010 song contest and their songs will be known by March 16, head of the Azerbaijani delegation in Eurovision Adil Karimli told APA. According to him, by that date all the participating countries are to present the names of their representatives to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). 18 out of 39 countries have already publicized their representatives in Eurovision. Speaking about the semifinal concert to be held in Buta Palace on February 2, Adil Karimli said ITV attaches great importance to the contest and intends to hold the semifinal as a great concert.
â€œTo show that we attach great importance to Eurovision contest, we have decided to hold a grand semifinal. The jury will again select the nominee, there will be no televoting or internet poll. There are no commercial interests, our only aim is to select a decent singer to represent Azerbaijan,â€ he said.

Karimli said the composition of the jury had not changed.
â€œThe creative staff is doing its best for February 2. I think this concert will not lag behind the Eurovision 2010. It would not be right to repeat the last yearâ€™s performance,â€ he said.
Adil Karimli said it is planned to sell tickets for the concert on February 2.

ITV Director General Ismayil Omarov, rector of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli Farhad Badalbayli, executive director of Friends of Azerbaijan Culture Foundation Ibrahim Guliyev, president of Azerbaijan national music committee of the International Music Council Lala Kazimova, director of Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society Murad Adigozalzadeh, representative of Culture and Tourism Ministry Manzar Nuraliyeva and representative of Youth and Sport Ministry Farhad Hajiyev were represented in the national jury of both Eurovision 2008 and Eurovision 2009.

Candidates of Azerbaijan for Eurovision 2010 contest are Safura Alizadeh, Maryam Shabanova, Milk&Kisses group, Azad Shabanov, Elli and Ulviyya Rahimova.
