Alla Pugacheva gives farewell concert in Baku

The concert was held within the framework of her tour â€œFrom April to Aprilâ€ on the occasion of her 60th jubilee. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva also attended the concert. The concert was supported by Culture and Tourism Ministry. The concert began at 19.30. Alla Pugacheva first sang â€œYa poyuâ€, then â€œNe plachâ€ and â€œOduvanchikâ€.
â€œI want you to live my songs together with me. I had unforgettable memories in Baku. I love this city and the people,â€ she said.
The singer said Baku was developing rapidly. Alla Pugacheva said she could not recognize Baku at first sight and expressed her gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for the economic growth.

Along with her new songs Pugacheva sang â€œAysbergâ€, â€œPrimadonnaâ€, â€œRechnoy tramvaychikâ€, â€œPozovi menya s soboyâ€, â€œLyubov kak sostoyaniyeâ€. She came up to the audience and greeted them. Then the singer approached the President and sang before him. At the end of the concert bunches of flowers were presented to Alla Pugacheva on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva.
â€œI feel pride that President and his family are attending the concert. I am pleased to give concert on this stage for you,â€ she said.

Alla Pugacheva remembered the advice that her friend, USSR peopleâ€™s artist Muslum Magomayev had given her.
â€œHe used to say: â€œAlla, leave the stage in time, when you are at the peak of your career.â€
The stage was decorated by famous Russian designer Boris Krasnov. The clothes of the singer were made by Valentin Yudashkin. After the concert was over, Alla Pugacheva returned to the stage to the applause of the audience. The second time when she returned to the stage she sang â€œYa uletayuâ€ and finished her Baku concert with this song. After the curtain dropped the people stood and applauded. Russian prima donna returned for the third time.
â€œThe love in your eyes, your hospitality and kindness made me return. This is my last tour. I will never give concert anywhere. But it does not mean that I will not work. My creative activity will continue in theater, cinema. I only put an end to my concerts,â€ she said.
