Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) Allahshukur Pashazade has expressed concern over the risk of religious dissent among tourists and investor visiting the country.
Pashazade said he respects the law on tourism as well as the rules pertaining to investors coming to the country.
He noted, however, that if somebody comes to Azerbaijan in the name of investor for the purpose of preaching some ideology secretly, it will bring about religious dissent.
“There are some who make the investment and then begin to propagate their own religious beliefs in their place. That brings about religious dissent which consequently turns into confrontation,” said the CMO chairman. “In countries where militants are prevailing, the process started like this. So there is no need for investment which will cause religious confrontation here.”
