Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has described the European Commission's enlargement report as politically biased, APA's local bureau reports, citing a statement issued by the ministry.
It was noted that the report is full of factual inaccuracies and incorrect assessments. This strengthens narratives against Georgia and narrows the space for constructive cooperation and dialogue between the European Union and Georgia.
"It is unacceptable that the European Commission's report characterizes the governance carried out by the democratically elected authorities as 'state capture'," the statement emphasized.
The Foreign Ministry stated that the Georgian side would thoroughly analyze the document and provide substantiated comments to the European Commission.
