State Committee for Work with Religious Associations does not consider the re-opening of Abu Bakr mosque advisable

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“APA. The State Committee for Work with Religious Associations does not consider the re-opening of Narimanov District Friday Mosque, known as Abu Bakr Mosque advisable, the Committee official Gunduz Ismayilov told APA. He said the state committee stated its position for many times. â€œWe consider that the reâ€“opening issue can be viewed only after finishing of investigation. Announcements on the restoration of the mosqueâ€™s activity before the final investigations and sending letters to relative organizations are not true and are made for creation of confusion in the societyâ€.
