Gamet Suleymanov: â€œWe have received court decision on reopening of Abu Bakr Mosqueâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. The court submitted its decision to the leadership of Abu Bakr Mosque on restoration of its activity, Javanshir Suleymanov, Lawyer of Narimanov Religious Sect told APA.
To him, Narimanov Court has presented a decision to the sector and police. The decision covers restoration of its activity, withdrawal of police post from the site.The lawyer is unaware when the mosque will function.
Gamet Suleymanov, Imam of Abu Bakr Mosque confirmed the information. He stated that they had not received any information from the police and activity of the mosque had not been restored yet.
â€œWe should expect. We have heard that the residents want to appeal to the court. Moreover, the police post has not been withdrawn from the site. We are waiting for an execution of the courtâ€™s decision by the police,â€ he said.
Suleymanov added that their activity would be restored soon.
Narimanov Religious Sect took Narimanov Police Department into court on closure of Abu Bakr Mosque. Narimanov Court passed a decision to reopen of the mosque and restore its activity on October 27. Narimanov Police Department will execute the decision.
