Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations reviews 1618 books, prevents import of 43 books this year

He said that 1618 books have been reviewed this year and the import of 43 books was prevented. In addition, manuscripts of 167 religious books were examined: â€œThe number of books presented to the review is increased. The main reason of it is the prevention of illegal publication and import of religious literature and strengthening of state control over this sphereâ€.

According to Orujov, the result of analysis confirm that, the situation will be stabilized with ending of licensing the religious shops, and closing of illegal ones.
