Azerbaijani President sees construction of Gabala mosqueâ€™s new building

APA reports that the mosqueâ€™s akhund presented the copy of Holy Qurâ€™an to the head of state for his special attention and care to the protection and development of our national moral values.

President Aliyev watched the photo exposition reflecting the future view of the mosque.

It was said that the previous small building of Gabala city mosque was completely unserviceable. The construction of mosqueâ€™s building started in 2011, about 800-sq.m of area was allocated for this purpose. The construction of the mosqueâ€™s two-storey building, as well as entrance stairs, bridge and 21-m height minaret was finished. The work inside the building is being continued.

President was informed that the basic work was carried out in the household part of the complex. The library, ceremony hall, places of ablution will be situated here.

Azerbaijani President urged to conduct construction work considering the national features.
