Hidayet Orujov: â€œMost of the workers of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations served to certain sects and streamsâ€

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œWhen I was elected chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, I wanted to work with the previous team. But then I saw that most of them serve to certain sects and trendsâ€ said Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Hidayet Orujov, APA reports. Orujov said that majority of the workers of the committee didnâ€™t serve to Azerbaijani statehood till his appointment: â€œThatâ€™s why I didnâ€™t work with that team. Instead, we employed 46 new workers. 32 of them were the graduates of faculty of theology of Baku State Universityâ€.

The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations was established in 2006. Rafig Aliyev has chaired this committee till June 27 2006.

Hidayet Orujov was appointed chairman of the State Committee at that date.
