Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh meets with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill

Co-chairman of the CIS Inter-Religions Council Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh highly assessed the role of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in the region and in the whole world, Co-chairman of the CIS Inter-Religions Council said at the meeting with patriarch, APA reports quoting Interfax Religiya.
â€œSurely, you opened a new page in the Azerbaijanâ€™s history and in the life of Azerbaijani nation. Just owing to you, Catholicos of All Armenians and other religious leaders of the world attended the summit held in April in Baku. We thank you for thisâ€, he said. Moreover, he thanked the patriarch for his support for Azerbaijani initiative on peaceful solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict: â€œIt is very significant for our nation and for all Moslems. Patriarch has a great authority not only in the orthodox world, but also in the entire Islamic worldâ€.

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill highly assessed Pashazadehâ€™s role and authority in the CIS space as well. Pashazadeh also discussed an issue on helping the handover of ensign of Azerbaijani Army, National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimovâ€™s body.
