Allahshukur Pashazadeh to discuss return of Mubariz Ibrahimovâ€™s body with Patriarch Cyril

Dadashova said Sheik-al-Islam and Patriarch Cyril were regularly meeting as co-chairs of the CIS Inter-Religions Council. The Moscow Patriarchy will inform the Caucasian Muslims Office about the schedule of the next meeting initiated by Sheikh-al-Islam.

â€œGenerally issues of the inter-religions dialogue in CIS are discussed in these meetings. This time Sheikh will discuss the issue of assistance by Patriarch Cyril in returning the martyred Azerbaijani ensign Mubariz Ibrahimovâ€™s body, which has a great importance for Azerbaijanâ€.

Sheikh-al-Islam and Patriarch Cyril are expected to meet in Moscow.

Ensign of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Mubariz Ibrahimov was heroically martyred while repulsing an attack of Armenian armed forces on June 18, 2010. He killed several Armenian soldiers during that battle. Armenians havenâ€™t returned the 22-year old ensignâ€™s body yet.
