Hidayet Orujov: â€œConstruction of church in the occupied Nagorno Karabakh without Azerbaijanâ€™s permission is none other than to support the Armenian separatism and terrorismâ€

He noted that soon after the spread of information on holding groundbreaking ceremony of orthodox church in Khankendi, the Committee took official stance on it and condemned the fact: â€œThe State Committee took a stance on this idea when such information was spread 4 months ago too. I once more state that it is inadmissible, it is none other than to support the Armenian separatism, Armenian terrorism. Measures are being taken for prevention such cases, works are carried out, additional information will be given afterâ€.

While answering the question on foreign countriesâ€™ inclinations connected with propagandism of religions in Azerbaijan Committee chairman said that foreign intervention had decreased enough in comparison with previous years: â€œBut some inclinations are being observed and these inclinations have not perspectives. Along with Stateâ€™s attitude, Azerbaijani society does not receive it uniquely as wellâ€.
