President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, APA reports.
The congratulatory message reads:
"On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I would like to sincerely congratulate you and, in your person, all your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Serbia, and convey my most sincere wishes."
The current level of our relations with Serbia, a friendly country and a reliable strategic partner, is a source of satisfaction. Today, our friendly and cooperative relations, built on solid foundations of mutual support and trust, are developing comprehensively and are enriched with new content. Undoubtedly, regular mutual visits at the highest level, our active political dialogue create conditions for the more rapid development of these relations and the strengthening of our strategic partnership. I remember our recent meeting with you in Davos with the most pleasant impressions.
I am confident that with our joint efforts, we will achieve further expansion of traditional friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, mutually beneficial cooperation on both a bilateral and multilateral basis in accordance with the interests of our peoples, and further deepening of strategic partnership.
