The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order regarding this.
By another Order of the President, Afgan Suleyman oglu Jalilov has been appointed as the chairman of the board of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company.
Note that Afgan Suleyman oglu Jalilov was born in 1978. From 2002 to 2005, he worked in the Market Operations Department of the National Bank. From 2005 to 2013, he held the positions of Head of the Methodology Department, Director of the Development Department, and Chief Executive Officer for Financial Control at “AGBank” OJSC. In 2013, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “AGBank” OJSC. From 2016 to 2020, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of “AGBank” OJSC. From 2021 to 2023, he was Chairman of the Management Board of “Azerpost” LLC, which operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT). On October 30, 2023, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the State Maritime and Port Agency under the MDDT.
