Funds have been allocated for the construction of a new Sumgayit-Saray bridge, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order "On the construction of a new bridge over the railway line and the Samur-Absheron canal on Mahammad Asadov Street, which connects the city of Sumgayit with the Saray settlement of the Absheron region.
According to the Order, 9,960,000.0 (nine million nine hundred sixty thousand) manats were allocated to the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided for in the 2024 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the construction of a new bridge with a length of 100 meters and 6 spans on Mahammad Asadov Street, which connects the city of Sumgayit with the Saray settlement of the Absheron region, over the railway line and the Samur-Absheron canal.
The Ministry of Finance must provide financing in the specified amount, and the Cabinet of Ministers must resolve issues arising from this Order.
This Order shall enter into force on the date of its signing.
