Financial assistance will be provided to religious organizations in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed a relevant Order in this regard.
According to the Order, AZN 3.0 (three) million has been allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan envisaged in the 2025 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Caucasian Muslims Office, AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the religious organization of the Russian Orthodox Church’s Baku and Azerbaijan Diocese, AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the Mountain Jews religious community of Baku, AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the European Jews religious community of Baku, AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the Sephardic Jews religious community of Baku, AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan, and AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the Albanian-Udi Christian religious community of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as AZN 350.0 (three hundred fifty) thousand to the Fund for the Promotion of Spiritual Values under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the purpose of providing material support to other non-Islamic religious communities.
The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to ensure financing in the amounts specified in this Order.
