The expenses of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) for 2026 will be approved in the amount of 266,400,000.0 manat, APA reports.
This is reflected in the law "On the 2026 Budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund" approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
The sources of financing of these expenses will be the following:
- revenues of the 2026 budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund - 238,300,000.0 manat;
- 28,100,000.0 manat from the reserve of the Unemployment Insurance Fund created on January 1, 2026, directed to financing the expenses of 2026.
After discussions, the draft was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
