Vusala Mahirgizi presents documents that APAâ€™s investigative article was based on

Mahirgizi said the article was written basing on relevant documents.

“However, I regret that some NGO leaders and experts, who were mentioned in the article, expressed doubt over the article. The U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan made incorrect statements about the article yesterday. Therefore, as an editorial office we have decided to present the documents. The article has been prepared on the basis of 4 articles – the Coordination of the Sport for Rights Campaign of European organizations, the document adopted at the Sport for Rights campaign meeting in Warsaw on 15-16 January 2015, the timeline of key dates in Azerbaijan and the project of the campaign implemented by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED),” she noted.

Mahirgizi said that APA had never disseminated an article without facts, and It is not excluded either.

“We have once again proved that we don’t publish an article basing on no fact or document,” she added.
