The meeting was attended by president of APA Holding Vusala Mahirgizi, chief editor of Yeni Musavat newspaper Rauf Arifoglu, chief editor of Yeni Azerbaijan newspaper Hikmat Babaoglu, head of the Baku office of Radio Azadliq Zeynal Mammadli, chairman of Azerbaijan Journalists' Union Elchin Shikhli and chief of “New Generation” Journalists' Union Arif Aliyev.
The media representatives talked about the political situation ahead the parliamentary elections, the current state of media, role of social networks in the elections and media campaigns. Then the PACE mission’s questions were answered.
