Chief of the department of examination, programming and analysis of the National Broadcasting Council Tevekkul Dadashov said in a statement to APA the dossiers will reflect the general content and aim of programmes.
According to the department chief, the list of the programmes for which dossiers will be prepared is yet to be determined.
“The same approach will apply to all the dossiers of all programmes. We cannot call it a fully ‘black list’ because dossiers will reflect positive sides too. However, there will be a separate black list of dossiers for programmes that stand out in negative terms,” he said.
Dadashov noted that it is too early to name the programmes for which dossiers will be prepared. “Nevertheless, society already knows which programmes violate the rules on a regular basis. Most of the programmes are on a break. Perhaps some of those programmes will be excluded. In the next season, in September, dossiers will be improved more”.
Note that, NTRC Chairman Nushiravan Maharramli has recently said dossiers will be prepared for each of the entertainment programmes broadcast on private television channels, and these dossier will contain information about the design and other aspects of programmes. In case the information gives any irregularity, it will be considered by the council.
