Baku. Farid Mirzayev – APA. No television channels that have recently been closed down in Turkey are included in the list of Azerbaijan’s cable television operators, Togrul Mammadov, an official of Azerbaijan’s National Television and Radio Council, told APA.
He noted that Azerbaijan’s cable television operators do not have the right to transmit foreign TV channels that do not have a license for broadcasting.
On July 19, Turkey’s Radio and Television Supreme Council cancelled the licenses of over 20 media outlets for alleged links to the Gulenist Terror Organization/Parallel State Structure (FETO/PDY).
Among the closed down media outlers are STV, Samanyolu Haber, Samanyolu Haber Radio, Can Erzincan TV, Kanal 124, Yumurcak TV, Hira TV, MC TV, Dünya TV, Kanal Turk, Bugün TV, Mehtap TV, Berfin FM, Kanal Turk Radio, Burç FM, Samanyolu News Radio, Radyo Mehtap, News Radio Ege, Dunya Radio, Radio Küre, Merkür TV, Esra Radio, Tuna Shoping TV, Samanyolu News and Radio Anadolu.
