New members elected to Broadcasting Council of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company

Chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament's committee for culture Nizami Jafarov stressed the need for the members of the Broadcasting Council of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company to report periodically to the public.

Chairman of Great Establishment Party, MP Fazil Mustafa supported the proposal.

MP Sabir Rustamkhanli said that the residential building fire occurred in Binagadi should be thoroughly discussed in the parliament.

Rustamkhanli noted that nominating non-professional persons in the field of television as members of the Broadcasting Council of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company is wrong.

Rustamkhanli also added that though National Council of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic operated in Ganja, there is no monument in Ganja.

Then the issue of ITV Broadcasting Council was put up for discussion. Zeynalov Vugar Eldar nominated by the Council of Entrepreneurs, Seyidov Mirhesen Mirheydar nominated by youth organizations, Yusifova Sevil Sharif nominated by women’s associations were elected as new members of the Broadcasting Council of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. They replaced Namig Mammadov, Fuad Muradov and Zarifa Salahova, whose terms of office expired.
